Editor: First, I am so very sorry that the community has been damaged by another hurricane. I really can’t believe it happened again, and I know you feel the same. Rebuilding is a process. Be patient.

After Charley, the Charlotte County Chamber opened our doors to many groups, including the Supervisor of Elections Office who needed a space to train poll workers. I don’t remember who ran or who won, but we had a successful primary election, just weeks later. Voting was important, especially after the storm.

The same is true today. Your schools, staff and students are on the road to recovery, but they need your assistance by voting Yes! For Success. This initiative has has made a tremendous difference in Charlotte County, not only in the schools, but also in the workforce. Please keep the momentum going and Vote Yes! For Success!
